Capacity for seven full-height 8" (203 mm) or 200 mm diameter sieves, compatible with ASTM E11, E161, and ISO 565/3310-1 meshes. Accepts samples up to 100 g for sizes >20 µm, and 10 g or less for precision electroformed sieves.
Proportional control system with programmable ramp adjusts vibration amplitude (intensity) to optimize separation. Built-in memory stores up to 10 programs with specific parameters for amplitude, ramp, tapping, and duration. Sifting time configurable up to 99.9 minutes; typically 1-5 minutes depending on material and particle size distribution.
Powder-coated steel cabinet with Lexan® doors. Flexible upper and lower diaphragms contain the sample and seal the stack. Confines respirable particles for improved occupational safety. Fines are recoverable from the lower diaphragm.
